Challenges of our times and generation, memories and others. We face numerous challenges, both political, social, technological and last but not least environmental issues. We know that climate change is a fact, that the gap between the wealthy and the poor is growing at global level, that there is political polarization of enormous proportions. Along with this we have technological advancements, however with great concern on misuse and even abuse. Global health is at crisis and education and opportunities are subject to systemic inequalities. However, amidst all this we can challenge the status quo, inspire progress and transformation. And all this to strive for a world more fair and sustainable,

My mum and dad met during the 2nd world war and whilst my dad was actively involved as one of the leaders of the “Flying Brigade” resistance group, my mum was dedicated to her role as a “courier” for this group.
